Beer Gas Direct was formed in 1997, by hospitality industry professionals who identified a need for a quality dispense gas supplier based on their experiences as customers.
It seemed obvious that the supply of gas to customers ought to be a relatively simple process. However, the level of service received was consistently poor and none of our suppliers made an attempt to understand our business or tailor their service to suit our needs.
We decided therefore to source our own drinks dispense gas and supply other local businesses at the same time. Demand for our services grew rapidly, driven by the demand for a local, customer focused supplier who could provide a flexible service.
We originally traded from the cellar of a snooker club in Bolton, offering a service level not provided by any of our competitors, soon a move to larger premises was essential and over the course of the next four years we opened further depots in the Yorkshire and Midlands regions.
This rapid growth enabled us to expand our area of operation, and with the development of franchising further depots are planned. As each new area is added it reinforces our view that many businesses experience difficulties in obtaining quality suppliers, our attention to detail and commitment to our customers has helped Beer Gas Direct establish a position as a major player in the dispense gas industry.
