Beer Gas Direct

Kevin was our second franchisee starting out in January 2006. He was previously a driver with Beer Gas Direct so had a thorough knowledge of the work involved and his territory.

" When I started, I was very apprehensive as I had no experience in business. I was really impressed when I learnt that all issues relating to Tax, Vat, Book-keeping, Self Assessment etc was all part of the deal. I didn¹t have to do a single thing." I get regular monthly management figures telling me exactly how I¹m doing. It keeps my bank manager happy too.

Kevin is currently serving approximately 210 customers. When he started out, he inherited just over 120. "I didn¹t feel comfortable at first when I had to canvass for new business but I quickly gained confidence with the training I was given. I think that there is still plenty of business for me to gain within my territory and will soon be in a position to take on a driver to help out."

Helium sales form an important part of Kevin¹s business. "I see Helium as icing on the cake. It really sells it self. I just have to deliver."
